Japanese Export Serving Spoon as open flower w/stamen and truncated handle as Cat tail
and leaves is comprised of two pieces and is hollow. Typical of Japanese Silver
workmanship, no trace of solder work is in evidence. Marked only w/Japanese ideogram.
Although otherwise unmarked, it is probable that this extraordinary tour d’force of the
silversmiths handiwork was made by and for the Arthur and Bond company situated in the
treaty port of Yokohama cr 1900 or before. No damage.
