Sterling Silver Man’s Clothes Brush mark’d w/Scissor icon for 1907, Sterling, the numbers 1856
and the capital letter C. The Gorham Manufacturing Co’s Strapwork pattern closely aped
Shreve & Co’s XIVth Century Pattern. This quintessential Arts & Crafts design in Silver is highly
desirable and very rare. The soft bristles on this brush appear to be intact w/the exception of
one missing plug. The brush itself has been crimped in place complicating removal for weighing.
Monogram’ed FCR in scrolling script. Some dents. 2.8 Troy
